Name: Grilled Hamburgers
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. ground beef, lean
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon. Msg
- 3/4 teaspoon dried minced onions (or 1 tablespoon minced fresh nion)
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients and mix well.
- Shape into 4-6 patties, 3/4 inch thick.
- Place the patties on the cooking grill and follow the cooking times.

- Cover hamburgers while cooking to reduce the risk of flare ups. (If you prefer
searing patties, leave the cover off for the first minute on each side.
- Use a spatula or tongs when turning patties to prevent piercing and loss of
natural juices.

Comments: 8/30/2025 - I made 8 patties,
just ground beef without any of the additives, using a circular form.
Each was about 1 inch thick. After grilling a little more than 4 minutes
a side, they were pink, but not red, inside.
