This image was posted by our distant Swedish cousin Bertil Falck He wrote, “En bild i anslutning till Ingrids bild på Carl Alfred Sörqvists familj. Han var soldat. Här sitter han längst till vänsteroch häller upp ur flaskan vid ett möte på Backamo. Detta enligt min moster Elsa. Han var min mormors morfar och om jag räknat rätt var han Ingrids farfars far.”

This translates as, “A picture in connection with Ingrid’s picture of Carl Alfred Sörqvist’s family. He was a soldier. Here he sits on the far left and pours out of the bottle at a meeting at Backamo. This according to my aunt Elsa. He was my grandmother’s grandfather and if I counted correctly, he was Ingrid's grandfather’s father.” Backamo is a village near the west coast of Sweden, about 25 kilometers south of Uddevalla and 70 kilometers north of Gothenburg.

Dust and/or other blemishes have not been removed from this version of the image.
