After Chris’s dad, Carl Holm, retired, he bought a motorcycle. Carl enjoyed summer journeys around the Upper Peninsula. He even considered a ride all the way to Kenora, Ontario, where his dad was born, but never carried it out.
After Carl passed away in February 2019, Chis inherited the motorcycle and quickly began enjoying the freedom of motorcycling. In following years, he bought other motorcycles and travelled more widely, even as far as Kentucky, North Carolina, and West Virginia.
